Path To Darkness, Light and Dark Part 1:
The dark winds blowed through my hair
I gazed past the mountains
I turned up my head to swallow some rain
There I stood in front of the cave
It was power that greeted me
Insanity constantly gripped my mind
I searched for years, gone down my own path
The path of darkness
The curropt power tainted my soul
Persuaded my mind lulled me in
It was finally time to enter the cave
And collect the power for my darkness
I took the first step in
The cave wascold and eerie
I descended downward following the winding cave
There in my heart I could feel it
The tendrils of darkness enveloped me
My soul grew even thicker
Power raced in my veins
Emotion sank into my heart abandoned
The weight of all others gone
Each aetheric cord severed
I was born anew
At the end of a cave lay a stone tablet
"Freed from thine eartly shakles
"Humanity lost, no emotional battles
"These words will bless you
"In an unholy way, born new
"1000 years of despair cast. On the planet
"With no human to stop it
"You sall rule and serve your own
"The darkest star will now be shown"
I finished the inscriptions aloud
Again I felt the dark my body lifted into the air
The earth shook, an earsplitting sound came forth
I stepped out slowly to reveal my kingdom
Rain grew more severe and I saw the darkest star
The sun was black, with a cold heat
My new empire was a black world of night
I achieved it all through
My path to darkness
Looking down at my domain I smiled
Then watcching to see a new happening
A man clad in black, almost invisible rose from the ground
He turned to me eyes dark with misery
"Thank you for winning me my domain"
I threw my hand out, he flew off the mountain
"This is my planet, my darkness"
He levitated in air, turned to me
His arms grabbed air
My body began to feel crushed
"Your power is from me fool"
I was slammed to the ground
"Asteron king of evil shall rule
"But you had good spirit, name?"
My head raised, spirit crushed
So much power, weak in his shadow
"Cross, lawrence cross"
He left me lying in the dirt as he flew
I layed there for hours defeated.
My new power did not protect me
From the emotional turmoil of this humility and defeat
A meteor fell from the heavens
It put off a shining white light
At first I saw a human shape
I felt something strange. Another lapse in my power
Hope
I had to know what it was..........
Turning Point, Light and Dark Part 2:
It was the first light in hours since the darkness
My power humiliated
I stood above the crater looking down
The darkness did little to vanish my curiosity
It appeared from the distance humanoid
I approached taking fast steps
My glory was interupted and shattered
Revenge shall be struck at any who stood
The figure rose from the ground slowly
As I got near it
"She" looked at me
Long brown hair flowing down her back
The ground around her was burnt
She was shorter than I, with a thin body
Her eyes held years of wisdom
She appeared a yound maiden but felt much older
Her beauty struck me, pretty as a goddess
Though clad in nothing she held a dagger
We walked towards eachother
She gave off an inviting warmth
Her and outstretched, she grasped my neck
Suddenly her aura changed
It was powerful and menacing
Pain shot through my body
I was pushed into a near tree
It splintered from force but I felt no pain
"You did this" her voice echoed, sweet and frightening
"Are you aware even of what?"
" I did it to gain gods power"
"You released asteron and traded the world
"For naught but weak power"
My power was all but weak now
"He humiliated me I shall strike back, take this land
Her grip tightened choking me
" how your power is weak
Darkness cannot overcome light
Only live where light is not"
I was released, and landed on my knee
She smiled at me and the pain receded
Her aura becoming warm again
"I shall show you light for a moment"
My body then grew light
The womans lips were on mine
When they left I was assaulted by heart
The darkness left me
My power grew stronger but different
Warmth flooded my body
A tear fell from my eye
I felt what id never felt before
Happy
In a moment again it all vanished
My heart again was cold and heavy
I was weak and vulnerable
"You felt the power needed to stop this"
In an instant I was a changed man
"I am the goddess alevia"
I realized the folly of my actions
"Now come with me......."
Bewitching Beauty, Light and Dark Part 3:
Though the world was black
She gave off a precious light
As she led me hand in hand
I hadn't an idea where were to go
For only recently was it clear
I had to stop asteron with some great power
Power from the light
Her presende was ever great
Regardless her physical stature
She led me for hours
Until my steps grew heavy and slugginsh
"We shall stop here for a rest
"In this form I am ever vulnerable" she muttered
A small camp was set up fire lit
I gazed meekly up at her
I sat while she stood
"Why did you come to earth?"
"Because I was needed"
Her mystery undoubtedly attracted me as much as her appearence
It was clear she saw my fear and humility
She sat down next to me and gazed into the fire
"Why is it you veiw me as such a great being"
"You're a goddess who nearly killed me"
She smiled this time I knew it was real
"In this form I am weak
"Easily you coulve overtaken me why not?"
"It wouldn't have made a good impression"
She eyed me and I turned away
Unknowingly reddened
"Still the humility of your loss rings clear"
I looked down serious again
"But now you live a stronger man"
She clasped my hand
A pang of affection rang through me
Easily seen by her eyes
"Though your true strength shall come"
A splatter of ran hut me from above
Soon it began again to rain
It was hard to imagine a black sun
One that still gave off heat
But now the sun was a full moon.
Soon our fire was doused
Alevia was shivering slightly
Her hand quivered in mine
Although it seemed she was a goddess proud.
Too proud to admit her weakness
I had known her little
Yet still I felt a rising affection
It seemed just a simple lust
As a goddess she could easily have that effect
Stories common told
A goddess has beauty to bewitch mortal men
I wanted not to be lulled in
An obvious bewitching
Still I knew the scent and feel of magic
This had neither
It did feel a natural attraction
Perhaps she was truly just beautiful
And she spoke with an intelligence rarely seen
I covered Avevia in my jacket
She smiled.....
The Zenith, Light and Dark Part 4:
The midday sun reached the zenith
I trailed slightly behind alevia
I had long since given up the notion
That she had been bewitching me
Not I truly beleived in her beauty
But the more appeal she had the greater her mystery
I quickened my stride to match her own
"What is it you wish to ask of me?"
My mouth had yet to open, I grinned
"Who are you?"
"I am who I say I am
"Goddess alevia, she who commands energy
She who gave reiki to mortalsm"
Her mystery grows in her answers.
I found myself inexplicably drawn closer to her
"Why are you here?"
"Can you not see cross lawrence?
You are no humble peasent nor holy saint
Many things have ill stricken you"
She said no more
"Than I have a goddess to aid me?
"I suppose her beauty would be to win me over?"
We shared a quiet laugh
It was then I was taken by surprise
She grabbed my wrist and pulled me close
Her face hardly inches away
Her hair fell over my shoulder
It ccovered me in a sweet scent
Her amrs wrapped around my back
My breathe became heavy.
She looked up face turned into mine
Just as my arms were around her she pushed free
"My beauty can do more than win you over"
She smiled too wickedly to be a goddess
I let out a half sigh regaining my composure
"When taken by surprise perhaps"
She danced up to me and grabbed my hand
And pulled me down the road
We walked for the good of a minute
"When I win you over it shall be no surprise
"You shall be aware and enjoy it
"And be powerless to stop it"
Even if a simple tease
It was too strong for me
I had known her for hardly a day
And yet I was harboring emotions for her
I smiled fondly to myself
She replied by squeezing my hand
Instantly I became aware again
Almost 10 men were approaching us
Each of them carried a bloodlust
A group now barred our path
8 men formed a ragged bandit patrol I shall make quick work off all of them
A 9th apparated in the middle
He gave ppff a powerfull dark aura
Even I recognized his strength
Alevia turned to me
"We fight tgether"
She kissed my cheek "good luck"
Dimming of Sight, Light and Dark Part 5:
“Cover your eyes Lawrence,
“To see what I am to do would destroy you”
Her very words held a strictness I couldn’t break
“face the leader of these men
“I shall stop these ones”
A cold breeze fluttered through the forest we stood in.
The men each armed with a various amount of tools
Stood snickering on the path.
No ordinary bandits were they
“Alevia they outnumber you,
“I wouldn’t put a woman in a danger like this”
She twitched irritably “an honorable thought
“now my dearest defender, avert your eyes”
My eyes went to the ground, a light cascaded across the floor
Erasing all shadows, but in no harmful way
The light alone warm, so unusual to this darkness that rains down
It was almost as if seeing the light induced my affection.
Dawning on me the thought came
The light was meant to induce affection
Tis why my eyes were cast downwards by her words
And as if at once the light was sucked away and nothing returned from something
Eight men of nine were fallen to the ground
Eyes shut tight, mumbling something softly
One of the nameless men called out to my goddess
“I love you” an honor he had no right of
As I thought I realized the affectionate feeling bore little effect on me
In the way I thought of her as mine
A word no man has to call a woman before she herself allows
But the time was nigh to find such words
As one man stood amongst the sniveling
A man so lost in the shadows
That not even the strongest light could pierce through him
Upon what next my eyes beheld
My body would act without my mind
What I knew as a dark missile raced towards Alevia
And my own magic reached out and stopped it
Denying my own free will to save her
The missile was broken in the air
Turing my head rose and I smirked
“pay you shall for what you’ve done”
Wind whistled past my hair
And every droplet of water from night’s last rain scattered from my clothes
And struck him like needles.
What power I would have respected now was dwarfed
By the will to defend
And the body which would once have been mine
Now lay destroyed upon my feet
For that moment my mind was on the glory of such victory
Until I turned to look at alevia
For a moment I thought I had seen attraction in her eyes
But perhaps mistaken was i
As I could now see so clearly she was proud
My newfound powers stemmed already from her own light
I cared not, for my power had grown
I was broken from this power lustful trance by alevias words
“I have already told you, you would find yourself enjoying me
“but alas I am not a woman without a bit of a indecisiveness
“prove worthy yourself of my truest light
“and the false light of lust will cease to be in your eyes “for only I shall be in your eyes
“I shall command your sight”
Words like hers are always so mysterious
